Vintage Kodak No 1 Pocket Kodek Folding Camera Series II – Made in Canada
DESCRIPTION: Vintage No 1 PocketKodak Folding Camera No A120Manufacturer: Eastman Kodak Company Country of origin: Canada Construction: Conventional foldingcamera where the lens standard is pulled out on a track fixed to the baseboard.This is a little stiff at the moment and may need servicing.Plate/Film size: 120 roll film (autographic) for pictures 2″x 3″ Dimensions (w x h x l cm): 3.2 x 8 x16.2 Production Period: 1926 – 1932. The No. 1 Pocket Kodak is an earlyexample of a folding, bellows camera. It was made by Eastman Kodak in the late1920s and early 1930s. The bulk of the body is made of metal & covered in ablack leatherette with a matching, black carry strap. The front pulls open toreveal a platform. The bellows are then pulled along the platform & intoposition. It originally used A120 film: no longer made but 120 roll film can beused. The top houses a winding knob. There is a small, shutter release buttonmounted around the lens. A small, glass viewfinder sits above the lens. Thiscan be rotated for portrait or landscape photographs. CONDITION: Good overallcondition with no chips, cracks or restoration, as far as I can see. Thebellows appear to be in good overall condition. Please refer to all thephotographs as they are an important part of the condition report. Just showssome wear consistent with age and some of leather on the outside of the case iscoming away please see photos. Please view all the photos and read my description; then take a view before bidding. The camera does need to be cleaned and possibly some refurbishing. The Shutter seems to work when the shutter release lever is pressed down. However, the Camera & Winder haven’t been fully tested with a film. Therefore, the camera is being sold as Seen, possibly ‘Not Working’ and for ‘Display/Spares/Repairs’. Sold as Seen & as Found It may need some cleaning and/orrefurbishing.
