A nice original condition early Sanderson 1/2 plate field camera outfit of about 1900, with 3 original double dark slides and a working Thornton Pickard shutter and Thornton Pickard, Beck 1/2 plate lens. The lens optics are clear and the F stop iris is good with a focal length of about 8 inches. I doubt the strong leather case is original to the camera as it is a little on the large size but has ample room to add other plate holders and a tripod head also further lenses if needed. The original leather bellows are in very good condition with no scuffs or pinholes. Rack & pinion focusing is good and firm ( no slackness or signs of wear ). The case handle has been repaired at one support end and the lid hinge has also been repaired with strong leather. Number on the camera is,- 1.524. This is a heavy item but will be shipped with care by DHL Express out side the UK.
