this was the first camera after WWII to be developed by W Vinten Ltd in the late 1950s for use on early jet fighters it was used by the military to take footage of targets and to identify those and for use in battle zones. this one is in two metal cases both fully marked with all RAF military numbers and cases contain camera in one and sighting unit in the other this has some unused parts the lens on the camera is a 3″ lens and is made by Taylor, Taylor and Hobson it is a 16mm camera have researched company they still are trading and these cameras are 10s of thousands of pounds now i obviously have not checked it works as it connects to an early jet fighter or bomber by a screw fitted connection lead but can see no reason it does not work as kept in a fitted metal case see pictures for design what is included and close ups of identification plates of both cases have fitted carrying handles and both have been used so have normal wear and tear from that use some accessories are unused and still in paper wraps will be posting separately to stop cases damaging each other
