Here is a nice 4″ x 5″ USA made Graflex Speed Graphic, an unusual version in that it is a WWII US Army Air Forces C-3 Ground Camera, almost working correctly. The original military contract plate has long since disappeared from the front door but the original rivet holes are there, there is a military Acceptance Stamp on the drop bed and the top viewfinder has the Air Forces specified 3 red dots on the front lens. There is no rear lens in the viewfinder.
The rear focal plane shutter works but is sometimes slow at the lower speeds The front Kodak No 3 Supermatic shutters works correctly at all speeds (including B and T) although the firing lever needs to be raised by hand while cocking the shutter. The 1943 f4.5 6 3/8″ No 32 Kodak Anastigmat lens is clean and clear. The Kalart rangefinder works well too. Due to the few shortcomings this is a great opportunity to buy a genuine WWII Speed Graphic camera at a bargain price.
