This is a Ciro-Flex Model A Twin Lens Reflex TLR medium format 120 rollfilm camera made in Detroit, Michigan about 1941. It has a black leather or leatherette covered metal body with satin chrome finish to the metal trim. It is in good cosmetic condition although the covering on the top of the hood cover needs to be reglued. This camera has a Rochester, NY made Wollensak Velostigmat 1:3.5/83mm taking and viewing lenses and an Alphax shutter. Both lenses appear to be clean and clear with no scratches or fungus. The camera has speeds from 1sec to 1/200 plus B & T and apertures from 22 to 3.5. The shutter release operates smoothly and appears to work well on all speeds and openings although I can not attest to its accuracy. The metal pop up hood is intact, viewfinder is clear and the manual focus dial work easily. There is a tripod socket on the base. PLEASE NOTE: I am not a camera collector and certainly not a camera expert. I have tried to describe this item to the best of my ability. Before bidding please read the entire description and look at ALL the photos. Since I have no way to test the camera it is being sold as is, as a vintage collectable without any guarantee.
