This is a British 1930s folding camera by Houghton-Butcher called ‘The May Fair’, dated to 1932. This is a 120 film camera and comes from an estate. It is shown with its original leather case. Condition is outstandingly good. This clearly has been in storage for many years but all parts present as bright; the interior of the back of the case could do with polishing, but that is a job that would take less than a minute.
Original leather case has working metal catch and adjustable leather strap is in very good order. An excellent vintage manual photography from the 30s. For collectors, or display.
Function has not been tested.
